Pandora Diamond Event
- Event Brief:
Sparkling Creativity: Unveiling the Crystal Effects at Pandora Launch!
Lights, camera, action! We recently had the incredible opportunity to add a touch of magic to the Pandora Launch at ACO Pier 3/4 in Sydney. Our mission? To create a one-of-a-kind 'Crystal' lighting effect that would leave everyone in awe.
Our creative team immediately rolled up their sleeves, armed with their deep understanding of how light works. With pure white light as their canvas, they conjured up an effects prism capable of crystallising a mesmerising rainbow effect.
But that was just the beginning of our journey. We needed to adapt this dazzling creation to a compact yet brilliantly bright fixture. Enter Lighting Designer Adam Volz, who handpicked the versatile Robe Spikie. Small, compact, but packing a punch in brightness.
In our workshop, some clever 3D printing, and with the invaluable support of Adam Siggers, we crafted a custom spacer for the prism, securely fastening it to the front of the Spikie lens. After rigorous testing, our adapter proved to be rock-solid, even when the fixture hung in mid-air. As an extra layer of caution, we added a touch of silicon to ensure the custom lenses stayed firmly in place.
With the white LED chip, a burst of colourful brilliance, and the transformative power of the prism, our crystal effect was nothing short of spectacular.
But, as they say, the devil is in the details. The fixture needed to zoom and tilt 180 degrees for resets, and this presented its own set of challenges. We embarked on a journey through five different variations, meticulously fine-tuning every aspect to ensure operational perfection.
When the big moment arrived, and the Crystal Effects were unveiled, everyone was simply blown away. We couldn't be prouder of the result, and we're eagerly looking forward to collaborating with this fantastic team again in the future!

Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference has been a long term client for the team @TLD - Event Creation.
Our team provided; Creative Design (3D rendering), pre production including management of all presentations and content. We also produced the opening ceremony, the 4 day conference including audio-visual for 4 room breakout rooms plus 2 themed sponsor dinners.

AGT Ch7 TVC Shoot

Design a LED Tunnel for the Pre-shoot of AGT, Farmer Wants a Wife and other features

The design consisted of over 50sqm of our 4mm Black Faced LED Screen built in a U-shape of our ground support rigging. The 3 screens were mapped of our V4 Media Servers and 4k processing was done via our racks

MKR TV Launch Event

Create a Launch event for the MKR Brand.

Our design consisted of Lighting Trusses through the room. A small 'set' was constructed on stage to compliment the show part of the event. We had custom MKR gobos placed all around the space to enforce the brand.

Massive Conference Setup!
- Event Brief:
Create a large format LED Screen set and lighting package to compliment it.
- Event Location:
RACV Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast
- Event Design:
Our design consisted of over 200sqm's of LED Screen from 3.9mm - 4.8mm. 20x 1m x 5m high columns, 2x 4m x 4m I-mag screens and 1x 15m x 4m stage feature.
The screens together were a touch over 8k, but that was no problem for our new 4k racks. Content was played back from multiple Mac Pro machines.
Lighting was controlled by our MQ500 stadium console. Complimenting the screen setup, our designer Adam Volz added over 50 moving lights and incorporated moving LED strips that created live mapping of the content that created wicked lighting effects at the bottom of screen for the big opening moment.

Great Gatsby Themed 40th

Create a Great Gatsby Themed Event

Top of the Hinze Dam Gold Coast
- Event Design:
Consisted of old school search lights out the front, that could be seen for kilometres away. We added another 4 large beam lights that scanned over the dam and changed effects of the tree line/skyline. Awe added 4x beams to the pool deck with random effects during the night. A Marquee themed had a stage that we dressed with a moving light and audio package

Daly Awards Gala

We supplied a 5m x 3m LED wall, with full control: PVP3 on our new M1 Macs. We also supplied a Rigging and Lighting package controlled through ChamSys.

Studio Art Awards Night

Blended 10k Christie projectors on a 22m curved cyc wall mapped through PVP on our new M1 Macs. We also supplied a Nexo Audio system and Robe lighting fixtures controlled through ChamSys.

Isuzu MU-X TVC Launch

Create a LED Screen around the car

Our design consisted of a 19m x 3m LED wall that floated above a pond of water built and supplied by Matt Taylor and Kim Taylor.
The screen was a touch over 4k, but that was no problem for our new 4k racks. Content was played back from our V4 Media Servers and controlled by Chamsys so we could run the visual and lighting component together. Complimenting the screen our designer Adam Volz added 16x Dotline moving LED strips that created live mapping of the content that created wicked lighting effects on the car.

Endless Gobo Project

'endless' Project.. Recently the TLD Team helped Artist Kinly Grey to create a unique lighting art display in Brisbane during Brisbane Festival.
The project was seen from over 1km away at Highgate Hill Park. During the night, it changed from being colourful to just text to create the desired message for the project.

We used our Acme 20R Spots with custom gobos from the Team at Gobotech. We utilised some extra 350 LED washes to splash colour all over the building. Custom 5 meter ground support towers where created to get the best projection point for the project.

22years Celebration Event

Create a celebration event to remember.
The Shoot..
Recently we headed away with the Lucas Drilling Team to pre-shoot live content for their birthday event. We produced story boards, shoot logistics including all filming/script directing, on site shooting and conducting all interviews, drone footage, facility and workshop operations were filmed as per the schedule we created. All the raw footage was post edited, creating the final edited videos as per our designed show script.
Was awesome going to multiple sites and capturing what the hard working team do day to day.
The Event..
Consisted of 2 blends with our Christie 10k’s, 1x LED roof, house LED screen and a 20k projection throw onto our custom 6m holllow gauze, with full reveal system. 20+ moving lights with custom scenes to match the content, special effects and everything in between.
From walking in off the street, to a live drill site. The Drill Team were taken on a company journey of the past 22years of achievements.
The night had many moving parts, from technical direction to show calling, the TLD team managed to produce all areas with ease.
We look forwards to our next project, helping create memories for our clients through technology.
